"It is to be expected there'd be a range of body sizes for which it'd work. Unfortunately mine doesn't lie within that range and it simply doesn't fit. While my shoe size is 10. 5-11 I'm far leaner than the average American so it can't be made to fit snugly. Ordering should have asked for at least the circumference at the point of my leg at the top of the splint (also probably the foot where the bottom piece goes across) specified the range for which the splint would work. I hesitate to ask, but what's the return policy."

It works!

"I have ordered 3 or 4 after trying other approaches as recommended by a podiatrist. I wear this at every night and have found it really helps . The Velcro wears out within a few months."

Kim (4/5)

"It's not all that comfortable but it does the job of holding that stretch if you are suffering from plantar fascitis it's a lifesaver."

Scott (5/5)

Painful

"Found this painful around my heel and across the top of my foot. Returned."

I purchased the Dorsal night

"I purchased the Dorsal night splint to replace my ultrastretch night sock. Both were to relive pain from Planter fascitis. The Dorsal is more comfortable, but is simply ineffective. Morning pain is more acute when i use it in comparison to the night sock."

It’s working

"I only have this a week and I feel a change. I also have been doing exercises for planter fasciitis. Both are doing the trick."

Jan P. (4/5)

Too big

"There was only one size available when I ordered and it is slightly oversized for me."

Donna P. (3/5)

Helpful

"This brace was easy to use and as comfortable as possible given the circumstances. It helps keep the foot and ankle in place. The strap for the heel can get painful if it is on too tightly."

Love & hate relationship

"I love this splint because I have less pain the next day after wearing them. But, I do have to take them off in the middle of the night because of burning where I have heel spurs. I have a very severe case (physical therapy for weeks now and possible surgery) so I don't expect a miracle. They are comfortable to wear in bed and if I can leave them on all night I have much less pain the next day."

4 stars

"It helps and it doesn’t even bother me when I sleep. However the Velcro would wear out after 3 months if your condition is a long terms."

Q&A

Will this help with a tight Gastroc? Thanks.
Based on the information provided we would recommend treating your gastrocnemius with this Dorsal Night Splint.
I get up at night to use the bathroom. Would I need to remove the splint first?
The Dorsal Night Splint is designed to withstand light ambulation. There is non-slip silicone beading on the bottom of the foot. A quick trip to the restroom should be ok without having to remove the splint. Thanks!
