Works great

"I changed from Superfeet and this insole appears to provided better support for me."

John T. (5/5)

Not as good as they used to be

"I bought several 3/4 length PowerSteps over several years and I always appreciated their quality and comfort. But like so many things lately, the new ones I recently bought are not the same quality. For one thing, they're slightly shorter (even though the same size I've always bought). And the material used in them seems not quite as good. Time will tell how long they'll last. I also bought some full length PowerSteps that are supposed to be for narrower shoes, but I see absolutely no difference in their width from "normal" PowerSteps."

Kristi K. (3/5)

Good but still ball of foot pain

"Help but still have pain after a mile or two into my walk. Much less pain after the walk, hence the rating."

Robert S. (3/5)

Shipment went to the incorrect

"Shipment went to the incorrect address, attempted to correct, ultimately had to call to have the item resent."

japhet h. (4/5)

Metatarsal inserts

"The thinning hurts were comfortable, but the metatarsal inserts were uncomfortable"

KATHLEEN G. (3/5)

Working insoles

"These new insoles are great. Perfect for my golf shoes!"

john l. (5/5)

Fit my hiking shoes well.

"Fit my hiking shoes well. Nice and thin."

Stephen R. (5/5)

The Power Step thin inserts

"The Power Step thin inserts help with my foot pain and provide extra support where I need it. My toes have more room because these inserts are just a bit thinner and more comfortable for me."

Karen E. (5/5)

Awesome

"I had custom orthotics originally any they were 35 years old and fell apart. These work as good as those but are much more comfortable. They are in my everyday shoes and I am on a concrete work floor 60 hours per week. I like that they are thin to keep heel low and shoe backs high. Most raise heel too high and cause blisters from foot slipping up and down. Thank you and I will be ordering more just to swap out."

Scott Y. (5/5)

Did not like these

"These are made thinner by putting hard plastic on the bottom of them. They are extremely uncomfortable and hurt my feet immediately. I’ve only worn them once and can’t see going back to them. A waste of money and unlike previous power steps which I bought and enjoyed"

Q&A

I have a high arch and wear Newtons when running. Will these be the most helpful and/or do I need anything else besides this to make my plantar fascitis feel better
Hi Hannah, yes our PULSE Thin would be a good option. PULSE are designed to help with PF and have a shock absorbing foam which a lot of runner like. Although these are a neutral arch, we have a lot of customers with high arches that find PULSE to work well for them.
I have low/fallen arches, and plantar fasciitis on my left foot. I bought a pair of PowerStep ProTech (Full Length) nad have been trying them out. I think they are helping a bit, but I also have wide feet and in some of my shoes these insoles aren't wide enough in the toe box area. What do you recommend I do to remedy this? I don't see that you make a wide insole.
Hello Mike! Thank you for reaching out. If you’re looking for support in wide-width shoes, the PowerStep Pinnacle Wide Fit will be your best choice. While they are originally designed for neutral arches, they still offer the same benefits of our low arch insoles. If you like the support that your ProTech insoles give you, then Pinnacle Wide Fit will offer similar support, too. Here’s the link: https://powerstep.com/products/pinnacle-wide-fit-insoles We hope this helps!
I have fallen arches and over pronate but I play soccer and need orthotics to fit in my cleats and provide support and cushion to prevent shin splints. What do you recommend?
Hello Margie. Thank you for your question! For an insole that fits in your cleats and helps prevent injury, we do recommend the PowerStep PULSE Thin insoles. They still feature our signature arch support that helps with pronation (the inward rolling of the foot) but have a slimmer cushion to fit in soccer cleats. Thank you for reaching out!
I would use these in golf shoes to increase the bottom of foot comfort level. I have a neutral arch. Do I need to remove the original golf shoe insoles? Or can I just add these new insoles on top of the existing insoles?
Hi Cliff, Thank you for reaching out to PowerStep! If you are getting the full length insoles, you would remove your shoe inserts. Thank you, PowerStep Customer Service Team
Do you have these with metatarsal included?
Hello Rene, Thank you for reaching out PowerStep! We do not carry a thin profile that has a built in metatarsal pad. You can purchase metatarsal pads and them to the Pulse thin. Here is the link for the met pads. https://powerstep.com/products/metatarsal-cushions. Or, we do have the Pulse Plus with Met insoles. These are slightly thicker but have the met pad built in for you. Here is the link for your reference. https://powerstep.com/products/pulse-plus-met-insoles. I hope this information helps. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. Thank you, PowerStep Customer Service Team
