Pinnacle Low Insoles FAQs

Pinnacle Low has a lower-arch support shell, designed specifically for flat feet or fallen arches, whereas standard Pinnacle has a more neutral arch profile.

Yes. The low-arch support and heel cradle help reduce inward rolling of the foot, which improves alignment and reduces overpronation-related pain.

Yes. They are best used in shoes with removable liners. They work across athletic, casual, work, or dress styles, as long as there's sufficient depth.

Most people adjust within 1-3 days. There may be mild discomfort initially as your alignment stabilizes.

With regular use, expect up to ~6 months of comfort and support. Replace sooner if cushioning or arch support starts failing.

Reviews

"Im not filly sold on these. I took the origional inserts out if my shoes and put these in and my toes tingle bc of the tightness. Ive loosened the laces as much as they can and theres still a bit of tingling. For nearly $55 i would have expected to easily adapt but i havent yet. I wouldnt buy another pair of these but instead would just get shoes to help with my minor foot lean."

Sarah (2/5)

Work well!

"I have been wearing my powerstep insoles on my walk every day. First, I like the fact they come true to size. No trimming. The arch placement is perfect, and I liked that I could order the arch height directly in correlation to my foot issues. I have flat feet and the arch isn’t too high to where it hurts my feet as others have been. The price was also good! I love these and plan to keep wearing them!"

Customer service

"Hi, The inserts are great however I ordered these when you were running a 20% promo. After giving all my information and clicking the buy button I realized that I forgot to enter the promo code. I sent an email to customer service but apparently too late. Had they refunded my card the 20% you would have had a life long customer as the orthotics really work."

Patrick A. (3/5)

Not good

"I bought these hoping they would help with heel pain. They've unfortunately caused more heel pain to the point I've removed them from my shoes."

Lorenzo M. (1/5)

I love them but….

"We need these in the wide fit!! I have the lows in several shoes and love them however in some of my wider shoes I can feel my toe on the edge of the insoles. I purchased the neutral arch pinnacle because it was the only one in wide - and the wide fits but the arch seems like a lot on feet used to the low and I am not sure how going back and forth will do for my feet. Please. We need the wide versions!!"

Bambi (4/5)

Old Man

"I got these primarily because my new orthopedic doctor recommended them. I’ve used many different brands in the last fifty years and some were better than others. Now that my feet are over 70 years old and I’m still active, I need comfort and support. After using these for about three weeks, they do help somewhat with my pronation but I would enjoy more cushioning in the other areas. I fully recognize that the shoes are as important as the insoles, and I do use pretty good running shoes. Other than the help with pronation, the best thing I like about these is the significant veteran discount 👍"

BRETT W. (3/5)

Flat feet is real

"I bought these for my 12 year old daughter. She loves them and said they make her shoes more comfortable. Great buy."

Shanna F. (5/5)

More than Satisfied!

"I am very satisfied. I have pain in the arch of my left foot that was excrutiating. With the stretching exercises the dorctor gave me, the pain is subsiding."

Walter I. (5/5)

Arch support is too low

"I bought these insoles hoping to correct my overpronation, but the arch supports are not high enough to do much good."

Deb J. (2/5)

Amazing

"These are amazing and so comforting my feet don’t hurt at all"

Q&A

Hi, so I have flat feet, plantar fasciitis and heel pain. Would the pinnacle low, pinnacle or Maxx be best? Wondering if the low wouldn’t be enough arch support
Hi Markasm! We'd recommend our Pinnacle Low.
when you buy this product, does the order come for both of your feet of just one foot? I need the ortodics for both of my feet
Hi Mary! All our orthotics come as a pair; 1 left and 1 right foot.
How to size tgem
Hi Ammy! Each of our Pinnacle and PULSE are sized to fit by shoe size, so if you wear a size 8, you'll order a size C - which fits a women's 8-8,5 shoe. You can see each size in the size drop down on each product page. For most shoes, you'll want to remove your shoe's factory insole before placing PowerStep in your shoe.
How often do I need to replace my insoles?
Hi Veronica! We recommend replacing your insoles when you begin to notice a decrease in comfort or support. Several factors affect the wear of the product, such as activity, usage and foot structure, but under normal casual wear, your PowerStep insoles should last 6 months or longer. You can expect the product life to be significantly shorter if you wear the same pair daily or wear during rigorous activity such as running.
I bought inserts and need to buy another set, but don’t know what I bought. How can I identify the inserts I currently have?
Hi Allison! If the logo is worn off, and you're unable to tell/remember which one you need to order, you can give our team a call at 888.237.3668. They can look up your past order, or if you didn't order though our website and can explain what it looks like, they can help you figure it out.
