Great in soles, makes me
"Great in soles, makes me realize how unsupportive other shoes are when I don’t wear them. I’ve tried any other in soles before but nothing gave me the much needed arch support quite like these. I do wish they made wide fit with extra arch support because I would buy immediately"
Perfect! Just enough padding in
"Perfect! Just enough padding in all the right spots. The fit was spot on, I wear a size Womens 8W. My feet feel great with these insoles and I will be purchasing another pair."

"The arch is firm and remains so while wearing. Unfortunately, the insole is hard and unforgiving. After wearing them for 2 weeks, I gave up to give my soles a break. Only recommend for those who do not need cushioning."

Q&A
- I have wide feet with high arches, will the wide insoles work ? they state neutral arches.
- Hi Janet, first we'd recommend checking the dimensions image in the photos of our Pinnacle High and compare it to your shoe's factory insole. If you find that our Pinnacle High is too narrow for your shoe, then we'd recommend our Pinnacle Wide. A lot of our high arch customers still find the proper support with our neutral arch.
- Several years ago I purchased a Powerstep Wide Fit insole (ASIN: B009VJAUKG; size Women's 8-8.5 - C). I have a wide foot but not extra wide, and I'm concerned about this statement: "The Pinnacle Wide Fit insoles fit shoe widths 3E - 6E." I have loved my Powerstep insoles but nothing on my old order (I have a screenshot of it) says "Pinnacle." Also my old insole is totally gray, not the patterned blue. Are these really the same insole, and is there any other option for a wide-width insole?
- Hi Lois! We completely understand the confusion caused by the visual and wording differences in the descriptions. We did an artwork refresh a couple of years ago, and the PowerStep grey wide orthotics you previously purchased are the same as the Pinnacle Wide — they just feature our updated blue patterned fabric. They’ve always been designed to fit 3E–6E width shoes.
- My husband wears a 15 4e and has a low arch or flat feet. Do you recommend the wide insoles?
- Hi Lisa! For a 4E width, we'd recommend our Pinnacle Wide, but since these are a neutral arch, we'd definitely recommend following our break-in period. This time allows your feet and body to adjust to the new biomechanics, improved alignment and the comfort and relief they’re made to provide. We recommend using PowerStep 1 hour the first day, followed by 1 additional hour per day for 5 days, and if that is comfortable you may wear them full-time. Sometimes, it takes 2 weeks to work up to full-day duration. Some users experience a longer break-in period. If you continue to have discomfort after the break-in period, please reach out to our customer care team at 888-237-3668 and we would be happy to help.
- I have flat feet, it wearable 13 4e shoe. Do i go for the wide orthotic or the pinnacle?
- Hi Ari, our Pinnacle Wide is designed to fit 3E-6E widths, but is a neutral arch. A lot of our customers with low arches/flat feet still find this to work well, but everyone is different. If you decide to give it a try, we do recommend a break-in period of 1 hour the first day, followed by 1 additional hour per day for 5 days, and if that is comfortable you may wear them full-time. Sometimes, it takes 2 weeks to work up to full-day duration.
- Looking at the Powerstep Pinnacle or Maxx. Which orthotic should I buy for a 2E Wide width? Thank you!
- Hello Vince. Thank you for your question! Our Pinnacle Wide insoles are designed to fit a 3E to a 6E shoe. While this may vary by shoe brand, our standard insoles should fit a 2E shoe. If you’re looking for help with overpronation, we suggest the Pinnacle Maxx insoles. Otherwise, you can try the Pinnacle Wide to see if they fit, or try our PowerStep Pinnacle insoles: https://powerstep.com/products/pinnacle-insoles We hope this helps!
