Good support but takes room

"I put them in new ankle boots which now feel too tight. Hopefully the leather will stretch."

Power Step Insoles for high arches

"Thank you Power Step for sharing how to determine what size arch supports fit me personally. I didn’t know that I had high arches until I looked at the wear on my shoes. My plantar fasciitis foot pain is significantly reduced since using these supports."

Lila G. (5/5)

They are great for plantar

"They are great for plantar fasciitis and other foot pain. After my physical therapist recommended them, I have bought multiple pairs over the past 2 years for all my work and casual footwear."

Melinda V. (5/5)

Not worth the outrageous price. . .

"They helped the pain in my heels, for about 2 weeks. Now, I've put my regular insoles back in."

JESSICA S. (1/5)

Just ok

"I have worn these insoles in my sneakers for two weeks now. I need more arch support. Is there another style that offers this? Please advise."

Mary B. (3/5)

Best sole for me

"I’ve had plantar fasciitis for 6 months. These feel good on my feet. Hopefully this is the silver bullet to get me over my problem. I highly recommend them. Wish I had bought 2 pair."

Marsha P. (5/5)

Moldable

"It’s no better thane ones that are pre molded. Not worth the money"

Kimberly V. (2/5)

Buy the less expensive PowerStep insoles

"The insoles did not "mold" at all after they were warmed and fitted as directions indicated. I even tried a 2nd time. They are making a difference in my shoes though, so that is a plus. Not worth the extra $20 for moldable insoles, just buy their non-moldable insoles."

Linda B. (3/5)

Not as much support as

"Not as much support as I thought would occur. I am sticking to my pinnacle ones."

ROSA V. (2/5)

"It was earlier then expected Great"

Q&A

I have terribly flat feet. What would be the benefit in having the orthotic be heat molded to my exact foot shape? How would that offer the support I'm missing?
Hi Tara! The HeatMoldable insoles shape to your feet, giving you the support your arches are missing. They help take the pressure off, keep your feet aligned, and make standing or moving around a lot more comfortable.
Is there a different insert if you wear the outside of your shoes versus the inside
Hello Mike! Thank you for reaching out. Noticeable wear on the outsole of your shoes would indicate the same needs as wear and tear on the insole itself. Our heat moldable insole is a great option for customized support, especially if you have uneven wear on the outside of your shoes. Thank you again for your question. We hope this helps!
Which orthotic is best for Taylor’s bunion in both feet, high arches, and heal pain?
Hello Susan. Thank you for reaching out. The PowerStep Heat Moldable orthotics are a great option for relief from Taylor's bunion, high arch and heel pain. Their customizable fit should give you the right amount of support for your foot shape and arch height while the cushioning helps absorb shock to relieve pain. I have a pair of the heat moldable which feel good in my Hokas but they are a little short and a bit too narrow at the toe area. They are 8.5-9. I'm afraid the next size up which is 9.5-10 (women's) will be too large. They do not look like they can be trimmed but wondering if maybe they can be and what tool would be needed for the hard plastic and if this might harm the insole.
Hello Janet. Thank you for reaching out! Yes, the heat moldable insoles can be safely trimmed using a pair of scissors like kitchen shears. Just be careful when doing so and follow your shoe’s original insole as a guide if you can. If you are sizing up to the 9.5-10 insole, step into the insole before you mold or trim it to make sure the arch support hits your arch right. Sometimes, going up a size in insoles changes the structure of the support. Thankfully, the heat moldable insole provides a more customized fit despite the size change, but you may want to stick with the smaller size if the change is too much. Most of Powerstep product's arch height seems to be 1.2" and highest being 1.35". What is the arch height of this moldable model? And can I use this product without heat molding, as is?? I am looking for a product in between 1.2" and 1.35" arch height.
Hello James. Most PowerStep insole heights do range between 1.2 inches and 1.4 inches. The exact height depends on the size you order and, with this model, changes slightly with molding. The arch height range of the moldable insoles is between 1 and 1.2 inches measured from the ground to the insole’s arch. If you believe the moldable insoles are more comfortable without molding, then you can wear them that way although, overtime, they may start to mold to your feet in your shoes. If you want a more customized arch height, then we definitely recommend molding them. Otherwise, the PowerStep bridge insoles are also recommended for higher arches looking for customized support. We hope this helps!
